Description

While most of the men are far away fighting for their king and country, the women have to defend themselves.
They compensate for their lack of fighting skills by wearing extravagant battle dresses to discourage and scare away any villains, hopefully without a fight.
All done in Painter IX. (Photoshop was used only for some minor color tuning.)

It's good to see you back Emile!

Impressive portrait you got there.
So may nice details, great symmetrie.
You can also see clearly you painted the whole thing and not just
flipped one side over (which happens too often).

@Wallace, it took me awhile to finish this piece (alote more than 100 hours

and I’ve been busy with lots of other things as well. I do not write much lately but I thought I would be nice to add this painting to my gallery. Btw, you’re doing great yourself

Everything is great with the detail in the forefront and background - but the helmet is too large. No offense to women, but it should be smaller - more feminine - which would make it more interesting.
